New Year’s Eve Concert at the Vienna Hofburg – Strauss & Viennese Classics

Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Vienna with the traditional Vienna Hofburg Orchestra concert in the magnificent Festsaal of the Imperial Palace. Begin an unforgettable evening with a musical celebration of sparkling waltzes, lively polkas, overtures and famous operetta melodies.

The programme features works by Johann and Josef Strauss, Franz Lehár, Franz von Suppé and Emmerich Kálmán, including favourites such as “The Blue Danube,” “Vienna Blood,” “Voices of Spring,” and arias from “Die Fledermaus” and “The Csárdás Princess.” Four renowned opera singers join the orchestra for arias, duets and quartets, bringing the elegance and festive spirit of Viennese music to life.

The concert takes place in the Festsaal, the largest hall of the Vienna Hofburg, covering almost 1,000 m². Originally designed as an imperial throne room, its magnificent ceiling paintings and historic architecture create a spectacular setting for one of Vienna’s most festive New Year’s Eve classical concerts.
