Christmas Concerts at the Vienna Hofburg – Mozart & Strauss
Celebrate Christmas in Vienna with the Vienna Hofburg Orchestra in the magnificent Festsaal of the Imperial Palace. From December 25 to 27, enjoy festive masterpieces by Mozart, Johann Strauss, Lehár, Kálmán and Suppé, performed by the orchestra and international vocal soloists Sera Gösch, Rita-Lucia Schneider, Kammersänger Franz Supper and Michael Mrosek, conducted by Giuseppe Montesano.
The Festsaal, the largest hall in the Vienna Hofburg, covers almost 1,000 m² and was originally designed as a throne room. Its magnificent imperial setting provides the perfect backdrop for a traditional Viennese Christmas concert filled with classical music, famous waltzes and festive charm.
