Paulanerkirche

Paulanerkirche is a stunning early Baroque church in Vienna’s 4th district (Wieden), dating back to 1627–1651. Officially dedicated to the Holy Guardian Angels, it’s named after the Paulaner order who built it. The interior features beautiful frescoes by Carlo Carlone, an impressive high altar, and rich Baroque ornamentation — a true hidden gem with warm, intimate acoustics that make it a popular venue for classical concerts.
